Cannot Change Name of Default Admin User

We always change the default admin user to another name. System doesn't allow us to do although it seems to for a second. Then we are logged out and must sign in again with the "admin" user info.

Yes, at this time it is static.  We will re-working the system admin users area with roles and settings (including changing name) in the near future.  It did not making it into the 16.x release.
